When you first arrive at Bayırköy, you will see a big plane tree of thirty-five meters at the center of the village. This is the symbol of village and symbolized good luck. Marmaris's only historical olive oil factory is in this village. A short walk will take you to the oil factory via a pathway surrounded the bay trees.

You can also walk to Amos and Çiftlik Bay behind the Bayırköy. During this walk you will encounter the city walls, some structures and grave remains.
